In this article, the author claimed plenty of advantages of having state-sanctioned lotteries. To make the point much stronger, the author addressed some government examples using state-sanctioned lotteries to fund public services successfully at first. Then, the author pointed out some key advantages of having state-sanctioned lotteries and described it in detail during the following paragraphs, like the improvement of education, jobs creation, and tax relief. In the conclusion, although the author mentioned some risks of issuing state-sanctioned lotteries, he still believed that the benefits and successes of lotteries would work out as the governors administrate it effectively.
